Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at info@bplenviro.ca if you cannot find an answer to your question.

What is hydroseeding and how does it work?

Hydroseeding is a planting process that uses a slurry of seed, mulch, fertilizer, and water, sprayed over prepared soil using specialized equipment. It's faster and more cost-effective than sod, provides better coverage than hand-seeding, and is ideal for large areas, slopes, and new construction sites. Results are typically visible within 7-14 days.

Can you hydroseed steep slopes or difficult terrain?

Absolutely. Slope stabilization and remediation is one of our core specialties. We use specialized hydroseeding mixes with tackifiers and erosion control blankets for steep grades. For truly inaccessible areas, our drone seeding service can apply seed and fertilizer at 1 acre per minute.

What areas do you serve in Interior BC?

We serve a wide region across Interior British Columbia, including Salmon Arm, Kelowna, Vernon, Kamloops, Chase, Shuswap, Enderby, Revelstoke, Golden, Merritt, Cache Creek, 100 Mile House, and surrounding communities. Contact us to confirm availability in your area.

Do you handle mine reclamation and large commercial projects?

Yes. BPL has decades of experience with large-scale projects including mine reclamation, highway embankment stabilization, dam site remediation, and pipeline right-of-way restoration. We work with contractors, municipalities, and government agencies across BC.

Got Ground That Needs Holding?
